Reflected Twilight C3Refitwa woke up to find all her scratches from last night were healed but gained some new ones over night. She could hear the teasing trickle of the stream and lay there, listening to it. She could hear the pretty notes of it as the water hit the moss covered rocks, which sounded like a wooden xylophone being played gently. She got up after a while, carefully manoeuvring her way through the small and tricky entrance. She came out mostly unharmed, just a few small scratches. Reflected Twilight C2Panting, running sniffing, running. He left huge clouds of snow after each pounding and strong stride he took with his swift and knowing paws. He could smell it, but the wind continuously changed direction, making it impossible to tell which way it was coming from. But he knew if he kept following the ever-changing wind he would find it. He didn’t know if he was the hunter or the hunted. The wind would bring him the scent from in front, then behind, then in front of him again. It was all shockingly confusing, but he refused to be! Reflected Twilight C1It was a cold night. No moon and no clouds, only a thousand, million sparks scattered across the sky. Refitwa looked up and stared at the stars, thinking. Looking down again she could see the endless stretch of her forest home. Her favourite spot was on top of the cliff. It was the only place she could let her mind expand as far as her eye could see. It was very dark on this night but she could still see clearly enough with her well-adapted eyes.
